Business and Enterprise North East is an independent private sector company which delivers business support and enterprise solutions to help more businesses start, succeed and grow.

We help to transform regional economies by providing efficient, effective and targeted support to new and existing businesses with the emphasis on exceptional customer service.

Formed in 2007, the company initially replaced four sub-regional Business Link organisations in the North of England and our principal task was to deliver the Business Link service across the North East region. This was, and continues to be, a key feature to driving the North East Regional Economic Strategy, seeking to address the region’s record on new business creation and economic productivity.

Over the past few years, Business & Enterprise North East has grown rapidly, and we now offer a diverse range of business support services in a number of key areas. We also work with a diverse range of partners, stakeholders and intermediaries.
